Today I am going to Review LAURA MERCIER'S TINTED MOISTURISER WITH SPF 20 which I have been using arduously since last two months. I have recently featured this in my latest video about my August Favorites.

It arrived to me in Sephora's gift packing around Thanksgiving last year . The package had numerous things and It was one of them. I never reached out for this until this July when I started using it almost on daily basis.Now this is part of Daily Skin routine. I use it along with my The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minimiser. The combination works great for me!!

It is A perfect blend of skincare and makeup that hydrates skin and softens fine lines with a sheer hint of colour for a healthy, dewy glow.


This moisturizer features an antioxidant vitamin complex of vitamins C and E that acts as a free radical scavenger to protect the skin from even the most aggressive effects of the environment.

 A powerful moisturizer in its own right, it is powered with sodium hyaluronate to hydrate skin and soften and ease fine, dry lines.

VANILLOGY

1. Packaging: It is in the form of sturdy tube with a nozzle. Packaging is nice and serves the formulation well considering its consistency and wearability.

2. Texture: Fluid like and Tinted. It is super blendable and layerable.

3.It comes in wide variety of shades.Almost 15 different shades are available to choose from. This is something really laudable for a product marketed as  a tinted moisturiser. I am in shade Nude.(MAC NC 41)

4:Coverage: It gives decent coverage. Kind of coverage which is expected from a Tinted moisturiser.

As the product is layerable so you can go ahead  to have more coverage.

I HAVE APPLIED TWO LAYERS OF THE MOISTURISER!!

6. I use it  on its own most of the times.When I want more matte finish I powder my Face using My Body Shop Extra Virgin Loose powder .

7. It has SPF 20. There is always  additional advantage when your makeup has SPF.(especially the daily wear one)

8.Price:This is a travel size packaging of 1oz.  It costs around 20 USD. But since It was bought in Thanksgiving sale It turned out cheaper around 13 something $.

VANILLA RATINGS: 10/10

                                               It does what it said,for me!!

(Although I will say that many cheap and easily available versions of tinted moisturisers are availaible but this product can not be shuddered off useless for its price!!)

These days when everybody is going bonkers for TBS Tea Tree BB Cream I am posting the review on One of the gems of the same collection. I love to wear makeup and I want it to be flawless but wearing Primers daily was never my cup of tea.( I am brewing lot of tea,Isn't it)

I never wanted to irritate my skin by pushing it to limits with daily doses of Primers and stuff. 

To escape from primers I used to layer BB Cream twice as most of them has inbuilt priming properties.Then I spotted this Pore Minimiser from THE BODY SHOP.I instantly knew I want this and I bought it.

Rishikesh Rafting

Hey friends

I know it is quiet unusual to read a travel blog in the beauty blog but I had strong inclination to travel around and explore.
This is another part of me which exists along with my deep love for makeup and art .

I went to Rishikesh for  Rafting and I was super thrilled by the exotic Himalayan ranges,away from the hectic city schedules I felt so close to my being and everything was so natural and uncomplicated  Rishikesh is a famous holy city of India situated in Uttaranchal(former Uttar pradesh).Rishikesh isalso famous for Laxman Jhula , Temples and Spirituality  Mountains here aboard so many sages and saints who (might be) search fo higher reasons to life

Well , coming back to my adventure I did a 30 km stretch of rafting( longest in rishikesh) and that was from the small place Byassi to Rishikesh itself  . I am watersport savvy so couldn't resist River Ganga and was in the river for most of the times except  for the seven major rapids ( extreme turbulent river flow patches) I had on my track.As long as I was in the raft I was enjoying but afterward I was so tired.

The camp where I stayed was neat and clean, It had amazing location and River was so pristine over there

Despite applying tonnes of sunscreen both before and after our sport my skin got tanned. My back still has the curves of my swimsuit imprinted tanned.
